• Subscribing to Receive Articles by Email

The Schoolwires website system includes a feature called "E-Alerts", that allows school, PTA and Foundation personnel to notify you when they make changes to specific areas on the website.  For example, when new issues of the Hall Weekly Bulletin and Neil Cummins Backpack Mail have been posted, an E-Alert is sent out to let parents know that the issue is ready.  If you are not receiving these notices and your email address is correctly registered, you may want to check your E-Alert subscriptions as explained in this article.

In order to receive these E-Alerts, users must be registered on the site and you must subscribe to specific sections of the site, as shown below. The email message that subscribed users receive contains a link to the actual homepage or section, allowing them immediate and direct access. You must be a registered user to subscribe to these notifications. If you are not registered, and are a student, parent or staff member of the Larkspur School District, please contact webmaster@larkspurschools.org, supplying your name, phone number, and name of your student.

How do you subscribe to E-Alerts?

To receive "Content E-Alerts" for a homepage or section of the website when the site content changes:
    1. Sign in to the website at https://www.lcmschools.org. The Sign In link is at the top right of the website (the bar at the top of the page is called the My Start bar).  If you have forgotten your password, click the Forgot Sign-in Information? button on the Sign In page.
    2. Click the Access My Info button on the My Start bar. A User Profile page will display. The My Profile tab will display at the top, and the My E-Alerts & Subscriptions tab will display at the bottom.
    3. If your profile is not set up to receive Content E-Alerts, check the radio button to the left of on. If your Content E-Alerts are on and you simply want to modify your homepage and section subscription(s), skip to Step 6.
    4. Click the Save button. You will see a confirmation message.
    5. Click the Change your Profile link. The My Profile tab of the User Profile window will display. Notice that the Edit Subscriptions button is now showing.
    6. Click the Edit Subscriptions button. The User Profile will open to the Edit Subscriptions tab.
    7. Use the drop-down list to select either Larkspur School District, Neil Cummins Elementary School, or Hall Middle School, as desired,  to subscribe to or unsubscribe from the selected site's homepage or sections (see below).
    8. Check the box to right of each homepage or section to which you want to subscribe. See the picture shown below for an example.  Here the user is subscribing to the District homepage and the Music section on the District site.
    9. After making your selections, click the Subscribe button.  To select subscriptions at another site, then click the Change your Profile again link and repeat steps 6 through 9.
