LCMSD Absence and Illness Guide

logo

Dear LCMSD Community,

I hope this reaches you well and safe. On October 27, 2020 it was announced that Marin moved into Tier III/Orange on the Blueprint for a Safer Economy. Marin County Department of Public Health has provided a Tier III Decision Tree for “Test or 10” that will go into effect on Monday, November 9, 2020. The new Decision Tree has important changes regarding symptoms to determine the length of time a student or staff member must stay home and/or engage in the “Test or 10” protocol.

  • This video explains the new Decision Tree.
  • Here is the new Decision Tree as well as the Test or 10 protocol.
  • Here is the parent guide to absences and illness (Test or 10, live streaming, decision guide, travel, etc), which has all necessary information for navigating absence.

Take care,

Brett Geithman, Ed.D.
