Next Superintendent Coffee Chat - Please Join Us!

Parent, staff, and community engagement is important and essential to the success of our district. We have many opportunities through our various committees, parent groups such as the PTO/A and SPARK, and school site events. Additionally, I hold coffee chats throughout the year that provide another venue for parents to learn more about our schools and ask a range of questions. Some of these are topic-based and some are open-ended. Below is our schedule for the first few coffee chats of the year. I hope to see you there!

Upcoming Superintendent Coffee Chat Schedule (parents from all schools are welcome to attend each session):

• 9/1 from 8:30am - 9:30am in the Neil Cummins Music Room: For this chat, there will be no set agenda – all questions and topics are welcome. For new families to the district, it will also be an opportunity to meet me, your superintendent.

• 9/15 from 8:30am - 9:30am in the Neil Cummins Music Room: Our topic will be community funding, specifically discussing the significant impact SPARK makes on funding school and district programs. Sara Ryba, Executive Director of SPARK, will be joining me to provide an overview and answer any questions. Additionally, at the end of the chat we will leave time to answer any questions on any topic. 

• 10/24 from 8:30am - 9:30am in the Cove Gallery: This will be an academic topic (literacy and/or math). Details will be sent out as the agenda is finalized. Additionally, at the end of the chat we will leave time to answer any questions on any topic.
