Dear LCMSD Community,
We have all heard, and deeply felt, the tragic accident that occurred over the weekend involving six students from Archie Williams High School. Four young lives were lost, and two others were injured. The pain of this loss has rippled through our entire county, leaving many grieving alongside the affected families and school community.
In the wake of such heartbreaking loss, words feel inadequate. In times like these, we are reminded of the importance of compassion and community. Below is a message from the Archie Williams Foundation with ways to support the students, families, and school. Our hearts are with the Archie Williams community.
We are also including TUHSD-provided grief resources. In addition, please know our counselors are available to support students.

It is with profound sadness we reach out today regarding the devastating car accident on Friday, April 18th involving six Archie Williams High School students. This tragedy has claimed four young lives and left two others critically injured.
The AWHS Falcon Foundation has established a donation fund to support the families affected by this heartbreaking event:

Sponsor a Dine and Donate with Community or Business Partners and donate proceeds to the Go Fund Me through the Falcon Foundation.

Sponsor a faculty lunch. The Falcon Foundation will be providing weekly breakfast and lunches through the end of the year for teachers and staff. If you have partners who would like to offer discounted lunches, please let us know.
