Dear LCMSD Families, Neighbors and Community Partners,

The Larkspur-Corte Madera School District invites all community members—families, neighbors, and local partners—to participate in upcoming feedback sessions focused on school fencing options.

As part of the District’s ongoing efforts to enhance campus safety, the LCMSD School Safety Task Force has been exploring whether to install additional fencing at each school site. This work builds on recommendations from recent physical safety assessments and community perception studies. The goal is to strike a thoughtful balance between safety, accessibility, and community integration.

At these meetings, the District will present fencing design options, explain project scope and funding constraints, and provide links to surveys.

Community Meetings:

  • May 12, 2025, 5:00–6:00 p.m. at Neil Cummins Gym

  • May 13, 2025, 5:00–6:00 p.m. at Hall Middle School Gym

  • May 13, 2025, 6:30–7:30 p.m. at The Cove Gallery

We value your voice and look forward to hearing your perspectives as we work together to support safe and welcoming schools for all.

Sincerely,

Dr. Brett Geithman
Superintendent, Larkspur-Corte Madera School District
