Happy New Year! Every challenge that we have faced since March 2020, we have overcome as a community, as a team. Cove is a special place - made so by the people that come together every day to provide our students with the best possible experience. Thank you to everyone for your role in helping us through 2020 AND 2021. Looking forward to a bright new year! Welcome, 2022!

School Re-Entry Let’s join together to continue our essential efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy during our school re-entry.

Rapid Tests - All Students and Staff to take on January 2, 2022

Wednesday, December 15 all LCMSD students and staff received rapid tests. Here are the instructions:

Each box contains two tests. Only one of these is needed for postholiday “return to school” testing. The other test should be used for testing students or staff who may have COVID19 symptoms, whenever this may occur. Please make sure at least one test is reserved for backtoschool testing. If you use the test for symptoms, follow the same reporting instructions.  Report the results, whether they are positive or negative to this website. If positive, notify LCMSD immediately using covidreporting@lcmschools.org

Updated Travel Guidelines from California Department of Public Health On December 13, 2021, CDPH issued a new travel advisory effective immediately to recommend that all travelers arriving in California test for COVID-19 within three to five days after arrival, regardless of their vaccination status.

Thank you,

Michelle Walker, Principal
