Let’s have some fun! Spirit dress up day Friday, 9/22. Represent your favorite sports team with a t-shirt or jersey! If you don’t have that, Hawk's colors are always a good idea. We’ll have a fun minute to win it game during the assembly.
Harvest Festival Join us on the Neil Cummins blacktop Friday October 13 from 3:00-4:30pm for the annual Harvest Festival. Groove to the melodic sounds of the Hall Jazz Band while enjoying relay races, games, face painting, garden bites, crafts and more! All students and their families are welcome. Fun volunteer opportunities coming soon.
Our Very Own Dana Swisher has founded a nonprofit, Refugia, on a mission to create habitats for pollinators and wildlife native to our community. Come launch and celebrate Refugia on Saturday September 30 5:00-8:00pm at Cafe Verde in Corte Madera. RSVP here.
Library Birthday Book Program Celebrate July, August and September birthdays with the gift of reading! Look out for a colorful flyer from the Birthday Book Program in your student’s backpack. Here’s how it works: Donate $20, or more, to the program and your child gets to choose from our curated book list. We'll place their chosen book on our library shelves, complete with a personalized bookplate bearing their name and birthdate. Foster a love of literature that will be treasured for years to come!
Safe Routes: Walk and Roll Wednesdays
Every Wednesday is Walk and Roll to school, but the more times you can walk and roll to school the better! This means you can walk, park and walk, carpool, take public transportation, ride a bike, scoot, whatever limits traffic, pollution and promotes healthy living!
Once a month there will be Walk and Roll tables positioned at the gate entrances promoting walking and rolling to school, as well as opportunities for raffle tickets to win prizes! Below are the upcoming table days to mark on your calendar. Help us to spread the word!
October 4: International Walk to School Day - School's across the country will be walking to school. Stay tuned for more information!
November 15: Ruby Bridges Day
December 6: Walk & Roll Wednesday
