Cove’s Annual Tinker Day is on March 20! Grades 2-5 tinker freely around campus all day. Grades K and 1 have special tinker activities in their classrooms. Held in locations throughout Cove’s Campus, Tinker Day is a tribute to STEAM, with such long-time favorites as the Take-Apart Station, Cardboard Construction Zone, Sewing, and a variety of projects set up and run by parents as well as the larger Cove Community. This amazing day of STEAM allows our students to Tinker in a creative, constructive way. Here’s how you can help:

• Sign up here to run a station or volunteer to help our Tinkers at Work.

• Please begin collecting items to contribute: cardboard boxes, tape (scotch and electric) and crafty items for our Construction Station and old electronics (all shapes and sizes!) for the Take-Apart Station. We ask that you bring them into the gallery on March 19 or the morning of Tinker Day, March 20.

PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) Update

Cove Variety Show THIS Friday March 15th 6-8pm at Neil Cummins Gym! Come one, come all to the greatest show! Watch our talented Cove Coyotes show off their skills on the Neil Cummins Stage! Doors open at 5:30pm! Grab pizza ($3 cash or Venmo), popcorn ($2 cash or Venmo), Variety Show t-shirts and a seat (free!) before the show starts promptly at 6pm. Emma from Steve and Kate's will be providing limited juice boxes, so bring your water bottles to refill at our water station as no waters will be for sale. One thing new this year, you will need to sit with your children. No child will be allowed to sit in the front near the stage because last year it was far too distracting to our performers who have been working for months on their acts. So come early to snag a seat for the whole family. Can't wait to celebrate our remarkable performers!

Cove Yearbooks On Sale Now! It's Sunday, March 10th...and that means that you can now order your yearbook for the 2023/2024 school year! Yearbooks are $25 each and will be available for purchase online through April 5th. That's less than a month away...so don't procrastinate! Order your yearbook here.
