Dear Cove School,
This time of year has a pace of its own. Before we know it, we will be into January, wondering where the fall went. During this hectic time, it is important to slow down and give thanks. We all get so busy in our day to day lives that it’s easy to forget to take a moment and express our thanks to those who touch our lives every day.
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to publicly thank our staff and teachers for the dedicated work they do with their students every day. Their contributions in a variety of positions are what keep our school running smoothly. I am so incredibly grateful for this amazing body of people that I get to work with! During this season of thanks, I encourage you to take a moment to share with your children and our staff what you are grateful for. We are truly blessed to have such dedicated educators, staff members and families who care deeply about our school. It is an honor to work with this community.
With my deepest gratitude,
Michelle Walker
The Cove School Principal

Lost & Found is STILL overflowing with jackets and water bottles! Please check for missing items every Friday in front of school. During the week, Lost & Found is located inside the Gallery between the library and music room. If looking for items during school hours, please check in with the office first. Any leftover items will be donated on Friday, November 22!

Zen Den
Our Zen Den is up and running and the kids are loving it! Thank you so much for all the donations we have received. We have plenty of legos now and no longer need that request fulfilled but are in need of a few more items. We are wondering if anyone has a Sonos (wi-fi) speaker that they would like to donate before we purchase this one in blue. (We are looking at this one so that we can play spa-like, calming music from an iPhone without the music being interrupted by texts or calls). We are also looking for one table to do puzzles on loosely with the dimensions 35" W x 26"D x 27"H before buying this puzzle table. (We love the idea of the kids having the opportunity to work together over the course of a few weeks to complete a puzzle). If you have one of these items and are willing to donate to the Zen Den, please email Kristy Dell at kdell@lcmschools.org. Thank you so much for supporting the wellness of our Cove Coyotes.
