• REPORTING ABSENCES

    It is important that every student is accounted for on a daily basis. If possible, please report your child's absence prior to 9:00 a.m. on the day of his or her absence. Automated email and phone messages are generated from our attendance system at 9:30 a.m. You will get a call and an email if your child is marked absent in his/her first class of the day and we do not hear from you by 9:00 a.m.

    You may report your child's absence in one of the following ways:

    • Email (preferred): Email your student's name, grade and reason for the absence to hallabsentee@lcmschools.orgPlease include any symptoms of illness.
    • Phone: Call our absentee line at (415) 927-6956 and state your student's name, grade, and the reason for his or her absence. Please speak clearly and please spell your student's last name. Please include any symptoms of illness.

    If your child has the following symptoms of illness: fever, coughing, sore throat, body aches, chills, fatigue, vomiting or diarrhea, please keep your child home 24 hours after the symptoms resolve without medication.
