    REPORTING ABSENCES

    It is important that every student is accounted for on a daily basis. If possible, please report your child's absence prior to 9 a.m. on the day of his or her absence. Automated email and phone messages are generated from our attendance system at 9 a.m. if your child is marked absent in his/her homeroom and we haven't heard from you. You may report your child's absence in any one of the following ways:

    • Email: Email your student's absence to hallabsentee@lcmschools.org. Please write a brief message, including your student's name, grade, and the reason for his or her absence. 
    • Phone: Call our absentee line at (415) 927-6956. Please leave a brief message, including your student's name, grade, and the reason for his or her absence. Please speak clearly and please spell your student's last name. 
    • LCMSD App: If you have the Larkspur Corte Madera School District App on your Smart Phone, click on "Contact Us" and select "Absentee Reporting" from the Category drop down list. Select your child's school, and provide his or her name, your email and phone number, and the reason for the absence in the text box at the top of the screen.

    Please leave a brief message, including your student's name, grade, and the reason for his or her absence.
      If no reason is given, the absence is considered unexcused. 
     
    If your child has the following symptoms of illness: fever, coughing, sore throat, body aches, chills, fatigue, vomiting or diarrhea, please keep your child home 24 hours after the symptoms resolve without medication.
