PARENT RESOURCES
Project Awareness and Special Sports (PAASS) offers year-round adaptive sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis and lacrosse, all of which are held in various locations throughout Southern Marin. PAASS also runs after-school classes (martial arts, yoga) and summer camps at the Mill Valley Rec Center.
Giant Steps offers therapeutic riding classes at their facility located at the Sonoma Horse Park. They also host an annual Adaptive Horse Show.
Achieve Tahoe offers adaptive skiing and snowboarding at Northstar/Alpine/Palisades as well as multiple summer programs around Tahoe, such as sailing camp, archery, horseback riding, hiking, climbing, and Sierra summer sports days at Donner Lake (with kayaking, paddle boarding Sea Doo riding). Achieve also offers adaptive water skiing near Sacramento.
CP Soccer just started a Northern California chapter this last fall. They hold soccer clinics and a season of practices in Mill Valley.
It is a non-profit organization that provides fulfilling camping, recreational, educational, and respite services to children and adults with developmental disabilities around the year. Camp Krem offers summer camps in Yosemite and can be funded through GGRC. Camp Krem nurtures independence and self-confidence, encourages responsibility, develops a sense of worth and respect for others, and builds lifelong relationships through a warm, friendly atmosphere of planned permissiveness.

Weekend programs with boats that are outfitted to make sailing accessible to those with disabilities – both as riders and as sailors.
