STUDENT SERVICES OVERVIEW
The Cove School provides a variety of services that support a student’s individual learning needs. For students who are learning English, teachers provide English language development support with the help of our English Learner support provider. If a student needs extra time and support for mastering the foundations of reading, their teachers collaborate with our reading specialist to ensure that they receive the instruction they need. Advanced and gifted students are challenged through peer grouping and open-ended, inquiry based projects. The Cove School also has special education services to support individual students in making progress toward their IEP goals. Additionally, The Cove School counselor works with small groups as well as teachers, classes and parents to help students learn how to self-regulate, build resilience, and to advocate for themselves and their needs.
